Move over Moore . . . there's a new law in town!

According to this article by Clive Thompson of WIRED Magazine, there is a new law in town:  Lass' Law.  Moore's law has accurately predicted the increase in computing capacity of chips for the past five decades.  Now, Lass' Law predicts to do the same for Fab Labs.

Clive states: "If Lass’ law continues, custom fabrication will explode. In roughly a decade we will have a million fab labs. In 30 years it will be a trillion; they will be as omnipresent as the electronic devices currently scattered around your home."

Yikes!  That means a lot of intellectual property floating around to track for attribution.  makeSEA is designed specifically so that independent designers can share, sell, and track their intellectual property among a trusted community –including fab labs in meatspace. makeSEA protected projects can be managed privately, shared among private teams, or the exposed to the world - you choose.

makeSEA is all about Fair Trade & Attribution for Independent 3D Designers - join us and Go make something™ today!
